American Heart Association Take Home Quiz

The web site that I was selected to evaluate, for the quiz that is due on Monday November 12, 2001, is the American Heart Association web site.

Listed below is a list of questions that we have to answer for each part of the quiz.

  1. Is the information "chunked" appropriately throughout the site?
  2. What is the site structure?
  3. Does the site have a table of contents, site map/index, search features, FAQ page, and/or what's new page? Please provide a link to the appropriate items in your response.
  4. Are the page consistent in their design and navigation?
  5. What is your analysis of the visual organization of the individual pages?
  6. Are the page dimensions appropriate to their purpose?
  7. Is there veritcal stratification?
  8. Are the line lengths of text appropriate?
  9. How is emphasis or visual contrast created?
  10. Does the writing style match the purpose of the site?
  11. Name of external style sheet used on home page, if any.
