What is the primary message of this Web page? What is this organization trying to communicate?
The U.S. Senate is trying to communicate to the reader what the senate does on each day. It is also a site that
can be used to find info about bills that have been passed by bill number at the bottom
Whom do you think this organization's message is directed to? Who would want to know this information?
The information is there for the voters. It is so we know what our elected officials are doing
with their time in the capital.
Why do you think this organization wants to share this information? What do they have to gain?
The organization can gain voter support of their plans for passing more bills. By having the site
they plan to make it so that the people of this country need them to be in power to make the
nation run.
Did you already know something about this organization before you visited this Web site? What new things can you learn at this site?
I already knew a little about the senate. I learned that I can now contact NY's Senators and
tell them what I think about their ideas.
Do you think the message this organization wants to share is organized in such a way that it is easy to read or follow?
Yes, the links are all neatly in order and are very short and descriptive.
If you want to view the page that I viewed for this part of the assignment
go to senate.gov or follow this link to the next set
of answers, for part three.
